1936 BUICK CENTURY 4 DOOR SEDAN SPECIAL MODEL 40 STREET/RAT ROD L@@k
Bad to the bone K@@L Gangster ride with a definite attitude. Enjoy driving as is or finish off to your own specs. All the hard work has been done including fitting and installing a rebuilt 350 Chevy engine with hump heads, custom headers, dual exhaust,Edelbrock 4 barrelcarburetor, New 4 core radiator,Brake pedal assembly, floor shifter, and just tons of misc little things. The frame was not cut at all so you can go back to an original engine with no problem. Chevy S10 rear end was installed along with auto transmission and floor shifter. I wanted to keep the originalartillerywheels and hubcaps on it so adapters were needed for the rear. All the work was done by a professional shop with many years ofexperiencebuilding street rods. I can provide receipts for the build up to $8500 but much more than that was thrown at this project. The starting price is less than half what I have in it.My original intention was to keep this Classic 1936 Buick Century all original but gave up after years of frustration trying to get all the enginecomponentsfor it. I decided to go with the reliable Chevy 350 with automatic transmission setup. Plenty of power and easy to maintain and get parts for.Now it is awesome and reliable with the look and feel of the original car. Runs great and sounds healthy. Cruises at 70mph very well and runs nice and cool with it's new radiator. This car has most of the tough items to find like door sills, interior window garnish moldings, original seats with springs, door handles, clock, etc. The doors all shut and fasten and windows rollupand down. Thevacuumwindshield wiper motors are there but I have not hooked them up yet.All of the lights work including the turn signals and fog lights and the car is currently registered, insured, andstreetlegal. I would not hesitate to drive this across country just needs some tunes installed for sure. Turn it into a cool road trip.Fly in to Vegas, shuttle up to St.George and drive it home. The body is in great shape and the only rust problems are the bottoms of the headlights which are roached but repairable. One corner on the side of the hood is also rusted but repairable. I just left them and the paint as is for a rat rod effect which I love. The interior is bare bone and ready for door skins,carpet,headliner.etc. Or just keep it as is.You can turn this into a prize winning street rod or leave it as a driver and put your own touch on it. I've enjoyed it but now time for a new project and I need the space and funds. Any questions feel free to ask and leave your phone number and I will get back with you. Please only seriousinquiriesand bids.If your interested in any of the original engine parts and rear end let me know.
