California/Arizona car for the first 33 years of life!! Outstanding original condition with only 28,000 actual miles and loaded with excellent options including digital climate control air conditioning, air ride suspension, all power accessories, wire spoke wheel covers, and more! Excellent driver and even better future investment! Named Motor Trends Car of the Year in 1979, the newly redesigned, 6th generation Buick Riviera really hit the market with domination! Featuring a new 114 wheelbase with first time front-wheel-drive, sales went... through the roof! The classic lines of these Rivieras were the most popular of all time by production totals, and remain highly distinguishable today making them one of the most desired among serious Buick collectors. We are proud to offer this gorgeous 1984 Buick Riviera Coupe fitted with its original 307ci V8-4bbl and automatic overdrive transmission. This highly optioned, luxury Buick is packed with features that include very rare dual front bucket seats with 6-way power adjustment & center console, power windows, power locks, Electric Touch electronic climate control system, Delco AM/FM/Cassette Stereo radio with power antenna, tilt steering column, cruise control, lighted passenger vanity mirror, rear reading lamps, door edge guards, electric rear window defogger, remote outside mirrors, power trunk release with rubber trunk mat, automatic leveling control, padded landau top with coach lamps, white body side moldings, 4-note horn, chrome wire wheel covers, and newer 225/70R15 radial whitewall tires by Hankook! This beautifully kept example was built and sold new in California. It stayed in the south central California region through 2003 before heading to the Glendale, AZ area until 2017! Finished in all original, factory code correct 11L 11T- White with White padded top along with rare Sand Leather bucket seat interior, it remains super striking today! A paint meter proves every panel measures perfectly between 2.5-4.5 mils in depth! Because of its dry, sunny climate the originality of this example has really held true. Under professional advisement, much of the original rubber components were suggested to be replaced for good measure due the dry environment it was procured in since new. This recommendation lead to many new, common replacement parts in 2017 not limited to radiator hoses, heater hoses, hood struts, all new vacuum lines, all new required brake components with turned rear drums, new brake cylinders, brakes hoses, new drive belts, all new ignition system with fresh plug wires, new exhaust from the catalytic converter back, all new Monroe shocks front & back, valve cover gaskets, transmission pan gasket & filter, fuel filter, oil pan gasket, PCV valve, and more! All fluids were completely renewed from the engine, front differential, brake fluid, to the coolant! This precautionary measure to protect the longevity of the vital components amounted to great expense, but provided a continued future of unbelievable collectability! And moreover, it continues to be in superb road ready condition! In April 2018, after being driven from Memphis, Tennessee to St. Louis, Missouri, it received a new rear sway bar & stabilizer bar link kit, front wheel alignment, new battery, and air conditioning service. Showing only 28,657 actual miles, we believe it is one of the nicest you could imagine finding on the market! With the current owners quest to make this a truly drivable Riviera, it is presently equipped with an aftermarket Edelbrock Performer Series 500cfm carburetor with electric choke to provide a super smooth idle and equally impressive performance. This setup provides Perfect Tune technology. It also received a brand new radiator and thermostat in May of 2018 to ensure cool temps during hot summer months. It will come with the factory-issue carburetor and original owners manual. Please feel welcome to call with additional questions. Having minimal miles already clocked on the odometer, this presents an incredible opportunity for prospectors of future collectible cars! Astute buyers, act quickly!
