Took it for a ride this morning and it turned heads wherever I went =)
This 1982 Buick Riviera Convertible is listed on BuickRivieraConvertible.com as the VERY FIRST RED V-8 CONVERTIBLE BUILT! (check the site) I am a Shriner and a portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to the Shriner Circus Fund =)
This car was used in parades and special events. I no longer need it and am looking to give it a good home. This car is in good mechanical condition. It has a small exhaust leak that you can barely hear over the deep, rumbling exhaust. The engine is dressed out in Chrome (see pictures) and it has a new AM/FM/CD/USB player. The people who had it before me put a new convertible top on it but it wasn't installed correctly. I personally don't know about convertible tops. I have never driven it in the rain but maybe you can get it adjusted to fit better. It also comes with a clear car cover.
Odometer shows 10385 (see picture) but I do not know the actual mileage. It comes with all of the original engine valve covers, air cleaner, and many other parts (see photos) if you ever want to turn it back into a stock vehicle. You will also get all of the back issues I have of the Riviera car club news magazine called "The Riview" and anything else I can find laying around.
Write with any questions =)
