1972 Buick Skylark Additional Info:
Up for sale is my 1972 Buick Skylark 2 door hardtop. I bought this car for something to work on in my spare time which I now don't have much of. This is a great project! Make it your own..GS455 conversion or GSX Stage 1 or? Body is pretty decent for the year. Has used fenders on it from another car. Left side is real nice with no rot ever and right side had a small lower patch at one point. There is a brand new radiator support installed as well. Doors open and shut like brand new and rockers are real nice. Rear quarters have some rot as pictured but an easy fix. I have a repair panel for the left lower quarter that is included. Trunk floor is real solid and the frame is solid. The worst part of the body is the floor pans. They are rotted from the inside as somebody left the windows down some for a while. Carpet is removed and junked so the floors could be repaired. The front drivers floor and rear floor pans where your feet go are rotted. The passenger front pan appears pretty solid. Car comes with 4 new floor pans to be installed. Car has a 350 motor with 2 barrel carb that runs pretty well. TH350 transmission that shifts good and an open rear end with highway gears. Has new tune up parts and an oil change, has a slight hesitation off idle which I believe to be carb related. Looks to have all new shocks, brakes and tires. This car sat in a shop for the last 5 years or so. I would plan to change the fluids and check it over before driving it. I have driven it around the block and it shifts fine. All lights seem to work. Horn and heater work as well. I was told that the AC is still charged and cold but I never put the belt back on to try it. Buyer to pay a NON-Refundable deposit of $500 upon sale,Balance is due within 5 days. I accept Paypal, cashiers checks, banktransfers,or cash in person! Picking up the vehicle or having it shipped is the Purchasers responsibility. I will work with the shipper though as needed. I am located in Queensbury,New York 12804. 45 miles North of Albany. Exit 18 off I-87. Stop and have a look if you are local. If you need a shipper, try McNutt transport at 1800-755-2324. They are reasonable. I have a transferable Registration as New York doesn't issue titles for vehicles 1972 and older. This will be signed along with a bill of sale. This is a 47 year old car....it's not new. Assume nothing!,ask questions. Sold 100% AS IS where is!!! Thanks
