1990 Buick Reatta Additional Info:
Up for auction is a pair of Buick Reattas as pictured in both coupe and convertible form!
Yes, one winning bid buys the pair and you'll have an instant collection of a very cool little car from Buick.
I drove the red convertible to get some gas and it caught everyone's attention, so for a very small NO RESERVE price you'll become a local celebrity so get ready to answer lots of questions!
I know little about either car other than I've had them for a while and am moving soon and won't be taking them with me.
What I can tell you is that the red convertible is very good runner and though it is no museum piece still looks very nice. The red/tan combination would make even a first generation Taurus look great.
Miles are high on the convertible, they are around 217K. Engine runs great, shifts as it should. A good addition to any garage.
The coupe is a bit of a different story though it is still a good car. Runs and drives great though it has some cosmetic issues that need to be sorted out to get it back to spec. It has a bad rear tire so that needs replacing. The hood is misaligned, taillight panel is bad, expect a little time to be spent rejuvenating this one. Miles are decent at 146K
Neither one is a basket case, both interiors are presentable and with a little love could be very nice again.
Both digital dash clusters are fully functional as pictured.
Both will need batteries or possibly a good charge to bring them back to life.
Included is the original keyless remote (seen better days) as well as owners manual set in a nice tidy leather case.
Where else can you start a rare car collection for a starting bid of under $2K!
I would recommend the coupe be trailered, the convertible is ready to blow the wind thru your hair wherever you want to go, well, providing you can figure out how to get the top to work as I still never figured that one out!
I will be glad to answer any questions as I am sure I have forgotten much information in writing this as my mind is more focused on an upcoming move across the country than cars at the moment.
Both cars are located at a friends lot just off either I16 or I95 in Savannah GA so getting them is no problem. I can assist with loading on a transport if needed.
Thanks for looking and again please ask any questions and I will be glad to assist.
