1940 Buick Series 40 Special Additional Info:

I am listing my grandfathers 1940 Buick Special Series 40 for him. This wasa one owner true barn find and he has had it restored in the last couple years. Last time it had been driven before restoration was 1947. He has a bunch of original paperwork, owners manual, and even the original title from when it was new! It has the Straight 8 engine with 3 speed manual column shift transmission that runs great! Engine was pulled out and had all new seals and gaskets put in, new plugs, wires, hoses, coil, etc. New gas tank and lines. All new brakes shoes, lines, etc. New exhaust. New radiator. New tires. New upholstery. New weather stripping. Rechromed bumpers and grill. Too much to list. He has thousands of dollars in receipts from the restoration. Paint in good shape not perfect but a solid 8 out of 10. Very solid car even looks great underneath as you can see in pics. Would make perfect head tuner Sunday cruiser that you never see on the road!
