Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the...right place! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection. This 1965 Buick Riviera is located in a Copart facility in 26029 BETHEL CONCORD ROAD, SEAFORD, DE 19973. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, clean title vehicle. You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear Maryland Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.1965 BUICK RIVIERAThe Buick Riviera is a personal luxury car produced by Buick from 1963 to 1999. GM's first entry into that prestige niche, the Riviera was highly praised by automotive journalists upon its high-profile debut. While early models stayed close to the original form, eight subsequent generations varied substantially over the Riviera's thirty-year lifespan.First generation (1963–1965) In 1965 the 401 cu in (6.6 l) V8 returned as the standard engine, and the "Gran Sport" version made its debut, powered by the Super Wildcat V8 and outfitted with a more aggressive 3.42 axle ratio and stiffer, heavy-duty suspension. The Super Turbine 400 transmission retained its variable pitch torque converter, but was fitted with a three-speed gear selector. The stock dual exhaust pipes were increased from 2.0 inches (51 mm) to 2.25 inches (57 mm) inside diameter and had fewer turns to reduce backpressure. Externally, the headlamps were hidden behind clamshell doors in the leading edges of each fender, as had been in the original design. The non-functional side scoops between the doors and rear wheel arches were removed, and the taillights moved from the body into the rear bumper.MechanicalThis 1965 Buick Riviera has been chopped 4", lowered using lowering springs from OPG, and the door handles have been shaved and wing vents removed. The stock 401 Nail head and Turbine automatic transmission run strong. They have not been modified, but you have to TRY NOT to do burnouts! If you are not familiar with the legendary 401 Buick Nail head, I encourage you to do some research. It is a super strong motor! The odometer reads 98,721. I don't know if the engine or transmission have ever been rebuilt, but both run very strong.I bought this Riviera already chopped from a collector who bought it from a large auction lot. He didn't have any information about the car that he could pass on to me, so I really don't know much about it's history.RECENT WORK DONE BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER OVER $3,500 OF NEW PARTS INCLUDING. New springs, isolators and retainersNew shocksNew shock and swaybar linksNew brakesNew batteryNew custom exhaustNew Pinion sealNew front wheel bearingsNew 16 gallon fuel cellProfessionally rebuilt drive shaft and center linkKnown issues NOT working - a/c, horn, windshield wipers, right front turn signal, radio, clock NO seat beltsNO headlight clam shells motor. Everything is there except the motor so you can still open or close them manually (I like them open anyway)The speedometer runs approx 10 mph under true mphTires are in only fair condition Paint is maybe a 6 out of 10. 10 being "perfect" show quality.Exterior This Riviera is more of a rat rod show car than a "perfection" show car. It is not a "concourse de elegance" candidate, but the car has been to car clubs, shows etc. and everyone seems to love it. This car is just plain outlaw cool and runs very strong. The previous owner had this car for about 5 years and I was told since the day he owned the car there have been one or two very small and very minor (bubbles) under the paint on the rear fender edges above the wheels. They have not gotten any worse since then, nothing major. Otherwise the car is amazingly rust free. The car has always been in s climate controlled garage and it hasn't been out in the rain. Because this car has been chopped, it has no side windows. It is a "fair weather" car and needs to be garaged. InteriorIt interior looks great for its age but will need work as you can see in pictures. Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. It is your responsibility to personally inspect the vehicle or send a third-party inspector that will perform an inspection to your satisfaction. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1960’s, and even though I’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I’m not aware of.I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback! This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
