1974 Buick Estate Wagon Additional Info:

The Buick Estate Wagon was 1974’s King of the Road. Strong 455 V8 Big Block and automatic transmission both rebuilt with new torque converter. This wagon is loaded: Power Rear “Clamshell” Tail Gate + Power Rear Window, Power Side Windows, Power Seat, A/C, Power Brakes, Power Steering, optional AM/FM Radio 8-Track included- Pioneer Super Tuner Cassette Tape Deck installed, Front and rear bumper guards and rub strips, Roof rack, Third Row Seat, etc. Independent inspectors welcome. If you can find a better example for the money buy it.

First owner owned this car from 1974 to 2016 (42 years) odometer reads a bit less than 84,000 miles but odometer has likely rolled over.

Clean CA title. Purchased New in La Mesa, California, Original Blue CA License Plate 000 KLV, Solid Body, Original Spare Tire, and Good Interior. Only corrosion is a dusting of surface rust in spare tire well, runs strong, drives great, rides great.

The Good:

· Rebuilt TH 400 Transmission with less than 200 miles

· Professionally rebuilt Quadra jet carb with electric choke

The Bad:

· Speedometer reads low

· Tires have lots of tread but are older T/A Radials

· Exhaust system is original to car and needs work

· Downshift passing gear manually (kick down from third gear to second gear doesn’t work)

· Passenger side mirror needs adjuster and cable

· Some of the rubber gaskets are worn

· Chrome is all original and not re-plated

A very exclusive car and this one is in much better than average condition. Would make a great vintage drag push car, shine and show, or just cruise around in style with a bunch of your friends. Don’t buy if you’re shy. People honk, wave and just overall appreciate seeing this car.

The purchaser will receive payment Instructions email immediately after committing to buy. Paypal accepted for deposit only. The winner will pay a nominal non-refundable deposit of $300 within 24 hours of winning the auction. The balance will need to be in the form of a bank wire, or cash, and received by close of business 7 days after making the initial $300.00 deposit. Failure to meet either of these 2 payment deadlines will void the entire transaction, and no monies are refundable. The buyer will receive the clear California Title to this Wagon by Priority Mail once all payment funds have cleared. Title must be signed over to the actual buyer, (no third-parties please). Vehicle sold As-Is.
