1971 Buick Skylark convertible Additional Info:
You are viewing a 1 family owned 1971 Buick Skylark convertible. This car was bought new in Ontario Canada new in 1971 and has stayed within the family since new. The original buyer passed it on to his daughter as he got too old to drive then it was parked for a number of years until the Son in law purchased it and had a local body shop restore it, he then gave it to his son for a University graduation gift. The Grandson drove it for 1 summer and parked it inside a storage building 9 years ago since he got a new job 2000 miles away. He left it in the home town where it was purchased sine he had an apartment in a big city and only had 1 spot for parking. He paid storage on it up until this year and decided to sell it since he was paying for storage. This car has 59,000 original miles on it and still has most of the original interior still in it, has had a new top installed which is still like new. The convertible retains it original 350 Buick engine and is all original with the exception of headers and dual exhaust. There was a stereo installed but put under the dash and never cut holes for speakers just put them in boxes in the back floor area so can be removed quite easily since it still has the original radio in the dash. When the body shop repaired this car 9 years ago they installed new rear quarter panels and a new trunk pan and did some floor repairs so it is solid now and no body work has moved in the 9 years that it has been stored so still looks real good. The paint job has never been sanded and wheeled out so could use that done but is very presentable. The car has new eagle aluminum 17 inch wheels and new tires on it as well. The car has power top and power steering and brakes. The interior is pretty awesome shape with the exception of 1 split on a seam on the front seat which could be re-sewn. The car drives awesome and runs real well too it has had fuel stabilizer put in while sitting and seems to be ok. The rear bumper has a slight twist to it but no dents and front looks good. This car would make a nice summer time cruiser for someone and would give you years of enjoyment and is priced very well so don't miss out if you want a drop top GM car that has low miles and is turn key now. Will require a deposit of 500 through paypal immediately and the balance through cash or bank transfer within 7 days. Once the car is paid for it does not have to be picked up for 60 days to give you a lot of time to pick it up or have it shipped. The car is in a clear Canadian Title and is located 45 minutes from the Michigan border 49783. It is very easy for Americans to import a Canadian vintage vehicle and only needs a 7501 form filled out to be able to title it in a state that requires a title for antique cars. Will help any way I can through the process of shipping it. Thanks for looking and don't miss out on an opportunity to own a vintage GM convertible that is turn key and very affordable. The price is in U.S. funds.
