1988 BUICK REATTA......SUPER CLEAN

1988 Buick Reatta Additional Info:

This is a 1988 Reatta 2 place sports car by Buick. 3800 V6, Front wheel drive automatic. A bit over 121000 miles. I am the third owner. Relisted due to buyers inability to transport car. I bought this car about five years ago as as a minor project. Since then I have installed all new brakes with new calipers and rotors, rebuilt the headlight flip up motors, Installed a professionally rebuilt touch screen, new battery and new muffler. Complete tune up including new plug wires and upgraded coil pack. Radiator flush / fill. Engine contains fresh synthetic motor oil. The body is straight and rust and dent free. Repainted two years ago due to peeling clear coat. Mirrors and trim are excellent, glass is excellent, bumpers excellent. Tires are very good with new custom rims installed last year. Taillight panel is very clear without the clouding seen in most Reattas. The interior is very clean. Headliner is nearly perfect, dash has no cracks, 16 way power leather seats seats with the suede option show some wear but have no tears or stains. The steering wheel and dash panels / gauges are in great condition. The door panels are nearly perfect with just one minor crack on the passenger side armrest, they even have the little plastic caps on the ends of the door pulls which are almost always missing and impossible to find. Carpet is very good as well as the carpet and vinyl in the rear area. Trunk is clean with nice carpet. A new rubber trunk seal (hard to find) is included but not installed.
Car is mechanically sound and runs and stops as it should. Does not smoke or use oil. No leaks on garage floor. No idiot lights remain on when running. Nearly everything works including the power windows, (they're slow but they work) 16 way power seats, (except for the lumbar function) turn signals, flashers, wipers, heater, am/fm radio, automatic power antenna, the cassette deck, the cruise control, all lights, including the headlight pop up motors, turn signals and fog lights. Trunk release, gas cap and glove box release and fog light switches all work as they should. Here is what does not work: Air conditioner was converted to R134 and worked when I bought the car but does not work now, never had it checked out. Windshield washers do not work. The emergency brake cable was stretched and no longer works. (a replacement cable is in the trunk). The original aluminum rims and hubcaps are in good condition and will go with the car if desired. Clear title. Please keep in mind that most of the components of this car are 30+ years old so obviously, something could fail on a long road trip.
I bought this car with the intention of giving it to my granddaughter, turns out she's no fan of the 80's look. Her loss. Low starting bid.
