1971 Buick Riviera for Auction.Well maintained and cared off.2 owners since new -- the second owner bought it in the mid 70's.Always a Texas car -- has still the original license plates from 71.Original 123k miles.Matching numbers 455-4 V8 engine.Clean engine compartment.The engine runs good without any noise.The timing could need an adjustment (if we find some time we will work on it).Strong engine with 330HP -- enough power to move this classic Riviera.Automatic transmission -- haven't checked if its the matching numbers tranny.Transmission works fine.No oil leaks/drips.Fully loaded with A/C; Power Steering; Power Seats; Power Windows; 8 Track Radio.All lights (incl. highbeams); wipers and options are working -- A/C compressor turns on but doesn't blow cold air.New complete fuel system; new shocks; new fluids.Body is in good condition and lines up very nice.No signs that this car was ever involved in any accident.Nice paint -- it was repainted once in the original color in the 90's -- still looks great.There are a very few little bubbles under the vinyl top which is very common for this Rivieras.Straight frame and no visible through rust underneath -- looks like an original Texas car from underneath.The interior is absolutely clean and looks amazing.No cracks in the dash; no rips in the seats or headliner.
This 1971 Buick Riviera Boattail is a very special car.It's pretty difficult to find one in this mostly original condition.The car was mostly a weekend driver which explains the condition.Always garaged and very well cared off.
