1966 Buick Skylark SPECIAL Additional Info:

First of all * Please read * this car has NO TITLE, it will be sold with a notarized bill of sale from the gentleman I got it from, and a bill of sale from me as well. All the VIN tags and trim tags are intact and still attached to the car. Ok, the description, this is a super solid convertible project, the frame is in super condition, the floors and trunk floor are 98% intact, there are some small holes (especially under the back seat area) that will need patched or fixed in whatever manner you prefer, but they are not significant. The wheel houses front and rear are 98% intact as well, trunk lip and seal area is rock solid, pinch weld area is super solid as well. Quarter panels are in very good shape with only a little rust in the drop down areas, very easily fixable, the left quarter panel does have a bit of collision damage but its not extensive (see pics). Inner and outer rockers are in great condition, doors are in great shape, dash is in great shape, cowl area and firewall all in great condition. Windshield frame is in great shape, all glass is intact and unbroken. Front fenders very good as well however the passenger fender side has a rust hole at the bottom. Inner fenders and core support are in in great condition. Bumpers are both in very good shape, the rear bumper may need rechromed, front is probably usable as is. Grille is in nice condition, and there are several parts in the trunk including the headlight mounting panels and moldings, original spare tire cover, radiator and shroud, glass washer bottle, drive shaft, overflow tank and bracket, and much much more. The hood and trunk lid are both in great condition as well. This little car has very little rust anywhere in the body. It also comes with two engines and two transmissions, the first is the original 300 V8, its disassembled, but complete, the original 2-speed transmission is newly rebuilt and never ran, it also has a new torque converter. The second engine is also a complete 300 V8 pulled from a 1966 Buick Special 4-door it was running when pulled about a year ago and comes with the 2-speed transmission as well. The seats are included, but in poor condition. This car must be picked up in Willard Mo, it rolls easily and I will help with the loading process. $500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end and balance due within 7 days of auction end. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks and good luck.
The convertible top bows are very nice and go up and down easily, but all cloth is missing. The front header on the bows is in great condition as well and the latches work great.
