1975 Buick Century Century Additional Info:
1975 Buick Century ( same chassis as Regal, Cutlas, Chevelle, Lemans, etc...) I owner, 24.5k actual miles!, kept in a heated garage away from sunlight its entire life. Was retired from occasional use in 1998. 350 Buick V8, 2 bbl carb, auto trans with console and floor shifter. buckets seats but no AC. Was recommissioned this summer, with new radiator and hoses, fluid changes, new battery, and new exhaust. Tires are in good condition but very old and should be replaced. Heater core began to leak and was by-passed. The car comes with a new heater core which I can install for the new owner if they wish. Car is completely stock outside the aftermarket antenna ( this was added because being in rural northern VT it was hard to pick up stations). Car was not driven in the winter although it did get old school undercoating, an oily/greasy substance that worked well. The car has no rust, no dents, no accidents but does have some chips and scratches and a few paint touch ups. Interior is near perfect, never smoked in, no rips, tears, stains or odors. Seats as a soft and supple as new, dash is perfect, Only the window gaskets show some aging. Also the bumper fillers have discolored but are still soft and pliable. Trunk is excellent with original spare and jack. Underneath is grimy but excellent, vinyl top is in great shape, chrome and trim is excellent but trim around quarter glass has shrunk with time. Hub caps and other stainless look new.
I bought this from the original family this summer and was stunned by its condition and care. Simply a near new car but as winter approaches I am out of storage space so something has to go. I have kept it in my barn at my lake house in Maine but can bring it to Wakefield (just outside of Boston) for more convenient shipping. Use 01880 for a storage quote. Inspections are welcome, just keep in mind that week days the car is nearly 2 hours from me so plan accordingly.
I have many more pics but some may only be on my computer in Maine, so be patient.
