1958 Buick Roadmaster Additional Info:
My 1958 Roadmaster...I bought this car in 2011 at an older gentlemans auction sale, and have made no progress on restoring it so it's time to give someone else a chance...Last time i had it on a trip was a few summers ago,,,it ran and drove nicely. since then the brakes have leaked down and are NOT working...It currently runs and drives, but as I mentione, BRAKES NOT WORKING..This happened after it was parked over the winter..I haven't taken time to work on them...Lights work, gauges, power windows,(slow, but they do move), power seat...etc...Odometer shows about 25K Miles (only 5 digit) It has the old rochester 4 jet, and does have a button for starting and a manual choke added..I believe the original starter switch is your have to put gas pedal to the floor to engage the starter. This car could be easily a daily driver with a little time invested..It has old gas in the tank, and I'd recommend a tune-up...carburetor kit etc... and will also need a new battery..It is a 12V system. transmission is a 2 speed automatic..reverse is to the far right. Tires stay aired up also....Body is quite nice and chrome also,,,underneath car I do not see rust through any metal either..There is a dent in front rt. fender, and a little rust on trunk lip by gas cap...See pictures..Interior is not horrible, but drivers seat area has rips, and there are some small tears in the headliner. This would be an awesome Classic Car for show or just a cool daily cruiser with a small investment...I will be letting it go starting well under $10K, so happy bidding!!! successful buyer will have some time to pick it up. PLEASE CHECK ON SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE BIDDING!! MY ZIPCODE IS 58710. (North Dakota) I can store it for a few weeks if needed after payment. I haven't seen very many of these so don't miss out on one that's in this condition..for being not restored and 58 years old I consider it quite nice!!..Thank you
