1970 Buick 455 Gran Sport convertible. Not a lot of hype here folks. True car collectors, and muscle car guys already know about these cars. This is a true all original numbers matching Gran Sport 455 convertible. The only thing that was changed and not kept was the starter. It has just had the brakes gone through and I kept the original parts. It has been painted in the past, not a good job. It runs out fine and the tranny shifts as it should. The body is solid, so are the trunk and floor pans. Posts are solid too. It has a working power top. The bad is the frame did not survive many years sitting in a damp basement, garage. The frame will need repair or a donor frame. It belonged to a close friend who past and I had hoped to find the time to restore it. This a running, drivable car that deserves a restoration. Something I have realized is in the far distant future for me. I have to many project cars already. Like I said, true car guys know what this car is worth, and so do I. I have put a fair reserve on her, but also have this car for sale locally and can end this auction early. If it makes the reserve, I will not end the auction.
