1969 Buick Riviera gs Additional Info:
Just an outstanding, virtually untouched original condition and truly rare 1969 Buick Riviera GS.
This car runs and drives outstanding with the exception of potentially needing a fuel pump and a carburetor rebuild. It has newer tires in great condition and the rims are beautiful as well. It is an air-conditioned equipped car that is currently not functioning. It has electric window, power brakes, and power steering. The provenance on this car is unbelievable and if you look at the pictures you will see why. It is still titled in the original owner's name and has every last bit of paperwork including the window sticker and protecto plate along with the dealer order sheet and invoice from the day it was ordered and the day it was delivered.
It was originally Zebeirted and the floors and inner fenders are outstanding along with ith the rockers Etc. There is one hole on the inner fender rear on the driver side about the size of a lime and there is one on the opposite side in the rear as well same size. The surrounding metal seems solid and the holes are not a sign of other rust issues underneath the car. There is a little rust in each pillar and in the front fender around the side marker light on both sides as well as a shallow dent in the door, one near the rear bumper and a couple of sides scrapes. All in all I would consider the body and floors of this car to be exceptional.
It is a bucket seat console car with unbelievable original interior with the exception of the front driver and passenger seats. I have Original Parts Group brand new covers headrest covers for both and newseat foam for the driver seat.
The bumpers will need some work, replacement or rechroming but they're not in horrible condition for driver quality. I would almost feel bad restoring this car but a light and easy restoration would make it a show car without taking it off to frame. Believe me if I had time I wouldn't hesitate to do so as it is a very valuable and rare car either in this condition or restored as well.
I own a car and motorcycle and memorabilia museum that is incorporated with a Tavern inside as well. Please feel free to look us up on Facebook so you may better understand my integrity. We are listed under Badger Motor Car Company. Also please take time to read the reviews. Personally I may be reached at 920-382-7422 to discuss the car and any other details you may want to know.
