1971 Buick Skylark Additional Info:

Very nice driver quality convertible. Body is in good condition with custom orange paint. Two or three small spots starting to appear, tried to get photos but they will not show up. Paint code is on the inside glove box. Underside of the car was painted 3 years ago, i am sure there may be some surface rust here or there. Floor pans have a few small repairs. The interior was just replaced with a full Legendary kit. Floor pan was sealed and sound deadner installed. Dash was removed and painted. Gauges where cleaned and a factory tach was installed instead of the clock, all dash lights work as well as the heater. Steering wheel was replaced with a custom wheel. Car has tilt wheel also. Cars power windows all work. Two rear are slow and sometimes need a little help, this is because of the new rear panels rubber seals seem to grab them. The convertible boot is new. All the chrome is in good condition. The trunk is solid and was sealed, with new mat and tire cover. All the light sockets where replaced with new sockets and bulbs. Four wheel drum brakes in good condition, with new BFG tires on Cragar rims. Car drives and steers good. Engine is a 350-4bbl from a later model Buick, runs great with awesome gas mileage. Hooker headers with dual exhaust, Flow Master mufflers. Carb is a holley 600 with a manual choke, Choke is removed. Car still starts fine just got to hold pedal down a little until it gets some heat in it. The engine bay could use a good cleaning and some tlc. Motor has a fresh tune up and all gone over. Trans is a turbo 350. Rear is a 10 bolt non posi unit. The convertible top is a manual oddly, when we had it all gutted for the new interior there is no sign of any cyl's or pump ever in the car, even the dash has the blank plate. The top is in ok condition and should be replace, it has the normal shrinkage tears at the rear folds. It is a A.C. car but the pump and hoses are missing, everything is still under the dash. This car has not seen rain or snow and has been garage kept for last 10 years. Thank You for looking.
