1963 Buick Riviera Additional Info:
Hard to find first generation Buick Riviera in very good condition. Riviera was Motor Trend Car of the Year for 1963. This personal luxury coupe designed by Bill Mitchell is painted in original burgundy metallic in nice condition, painted six years ago according to previous owner and presents well. Chrome and other brightwork in excellent condition with no dents or scratches.
Interior is excellent with almost new factory correct sandalwood seats. Headliner, carpet, Buick floor mats and other interior surfaces in very good condition. Idiot lights work along with rare 140 mph speedometer, odometer, trip meter, rare AM/FM radio works, lights, blinkers, interior courtesy lights, and door locks, and optional power seats that all work. Seats are almost new with no rips or tears. Not noticeable but missing one button on passengers seat. Has cruise control not hooked up but all mechanism in place. Horn works from button on dash. Only thing I know not working is clock and windshield wipers which should be an easy fix. Original Real wood trim on inside door panels is in fair shape but am including brand new top grade wood trim kit that can be stained and easily installed after you get the car or you may choose to live with the original patina of the panels (see photo). Car is being driven so mileage may vary slightly. Very strong running and shifting car with dual exhaust in very desirable color combination. Spare and jack in clean trunk with Buick trunk mat. Clear Texas title. Doubt you will find a nicer first generation Riviera at this low reserve price.
These cars are hard to find, going up in value and my reserve is several thousand dollars lower than Hagerty #3 value.
Car is for sale locally so auction may end early. Car is located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee for inspection and for easy access for pick-up or shipping. Feel free to contact with any questions.
