1990 Buick Reatta Additional Info:
1990 Buick ReattaHave ownedapp 7 years and I sorted this car out as it had basically sat for a couple of yearsHere goes..NEW struts, caliper, brake, ac compresso, fuel pum, coi, water pum, belts, hose, transmission service, fuel rails cleane, K&N air filte, Throttle position senso, Tire, hood and trunk strut, bell crank on flip up headlights and more.. I wanted this to be my daily driver and it has beenOriginal Paint and pin striping Tilt steering wheel..few chips but hey.. it's original and 27 years oldNO RUST..no tears in the leather.. great carpet and Reatta floor mats..Drive anywhere and turn heads.. great looking car that is GM based so parts and service are a snap..Needs.. and quirks..just want to be honest...I would expect the same(rarely get it though).. since this is 27 years old it has a few idiosyncrasieswhen starting you must turn on the key and let the fuel pump do its thing,, then again,, then crank,,there is a check valve somewhere that has a problem,, put one in line and problem solved.. radio worked.. then it didnt.. then it did.. and then it didnt.. then it did.. something loose on the radio .. the trunk key push button trim came off.. key still works as well as the clicker..AC needs to be charged.. new compressor(lifetime warranty from O'reillies..and dryer..sometimes the doorlocks interior switches need to be clicked twice .. sort of random.. a little lube would probably suffice..also one body suspension bushing is bad.. bought all six and the bolts as per Reatta owners club .. Might have the time to replace the bad one.. but I am leaving the Country soon and time is at a premium.. Good car and fun to drive.. been very dependable and the V-6 was the best engines GM ever madeContact me with questions..I will tell you anything that you want to know.. no wool over the eyes.. That is how I have always sold cars. people are just not used to it..
