1971 Buick Skylark GS350 Additional Info:

This is an original, un-restored 1971' Buick GS350 with only 86417 miles in excellent condition, it has never been hit or in any accidents, always garaged and covered in my ownership. The original complete Engine, Trans and exhaust are REMOVED that was in car. The Heads need to be rebuilt with a valve job to run unleaded gas, but you might as well rebuild engine since it's out. I had a different engine/trans/exhaust in car for a few years. I've only put 11k miles on this car in 17 years.
Chassis New Parts / Upgrades:
Detriot True Trac Limited Slip Differential, kept rear gears at 3.08 ratio, Orig.Open Diff in box in trunk.
New Steering Gearbox
Vintage Air Conditioning System, 70% Installed to Heater Functioning, all remaining fittings / hoses in kit's box in trunk.
Dash Pad Replaced with a center vent A/C Dash Pad
Rear deck 6x9 speakers, older Alpine Cass. Deck
New 7" diameter Vacuum Brake Assist to clear tall BBC valve covers that I had in the car for awhile, car originally came with an 11" brake assist which did give much stronger braking with less foot pressure.
Front & Rear Shocks
Changes:
Removed Fogged over and Dead Clock to install matching mallory tach with shift light & stall limit dials.
Relocated Voltage Regulator to front core support to allow clearance of rear distributor of a Chevy Motor.
Put Holley 600 Carb on when Quadra-Jet started running like crap, both carbs go with it.
Extra new parts in box:
New Polyurethane Anti-sway bar bushings new in box on front seat, several Buick Specialty catalogs.
Engine/Drivetrain:
Buick 350 Engine Complete with all brackets, Alt. & Power steering pump & FlexFan mounted, 86k miles, heads need rebuilding to run unleaded.
Buick 350's cam is T/A Performance TA 212, new cam bearings were installed.
New timing chain set.
Switched to HEI Distributor.
T/A Perf. Adjustable pushrods
T/A Perf. Buick 350 Stage 1 Intake Manifold
BPO Turbo 350 Transmission only has approx. 10k miles with new converter, shifted very nice and strong (chirped tires).
I'm giving with car 2 different driveshafts, The original was shortened for a 700r4 length trans, the 2nd driveshaft is a heavier duty slip yoke for a T400 trans & length.
All original motor mounts come with original engine to remount.
Radiator is in car with shroud (I wasn't using shroud as I was using Elect. Fans with different motor & trans, that's why it's so dusty in pic.)
The Buick GS offers over the base Skylark
Front Disc Brakes.
Rear Anti-sway Bar
Hood Intake Vent Scoops with GS Air Cleaner (in trunk).
GS Badging around car external & Door Panels.
This car has never been hit or in any accidents and is straight as a mirror. The ONLY issue is some bubbles under the paint in a few areas around the car (see Pictures), but there is NO cancer level rust requiring panel replacements, just strip, prep & paint. As well if you want it 100% showy the bumpers would need restoration with new chrome.
I have owned this car since 2000 and I brought it from Oregon and it has always been garaged and covered and never taken out in bad weather, none of the paint bubbles have progressed since I've had it in dry Phoenix weather, it could still be enjoyed for many years if you choose not to restore it right away. It gets many compliments.
To receive this car will require moving engine and trans separately as they are strapped to a dolly.
I have a clear Arizona title. You can see video of the car with my previous running engine I took last Fall 2016 on Utube.com/watch?v=wiijGn-qFx0&feature=youtu.be
