Auction is for a 1987 Buick Regal Type T "WE4" car with 9,800 original miles. This is a 3 owner car-current owner has had it for almost 17 years and put less than 2,000 miles on it. All owners have kept this car indoors, and it shows. This is one of 1,547 Type T Buick's ever produced-it is a WE4 option car, which is identical to a Grand National but lighter weight, and much rarer (there were over 20,000 Grand Nationals made in 1987). This Buick has had modifications done to the engine, transmission, and interior as you can see in the pictures. Modifications are (but not limited to):

The body is straight as an arrow, and was repainted its original black sometime in the mid 90's. No accidents, no body filler, just repainted to freshen up the exterior. Paint is in very good to excellent condition with only a few minor chips in the front end. The plastic filler under the rear driver side tail light is cracked. The factory 2 tone interior is in very good to excellent condition. The seats have been modified for 5 point harnesses. Gauges have been added, along with a roll cage and shifter assembly has been modified as well. The rear view mirror was removed, but will go with the car. The steering wheel was replaced with an aftermarket aluminum and leather wrapped wheel. The battery has been re-located to the trunk, and a fuel cell was also installed in the trunk. The wheels are Weld Racing alloys with BF Goodrich tires that have nearly all their tread left. After the engine was re-built (less than 1,000 miles ago) it was de-tuned for break in period (less than 5lbs of boost at wide open throttle), and never re-tuned for full performance capability. This car runs, shifts, drives, stops, etc and can be driven on the street with no issues, but would need tuned to achieve its full potential. All factory electronics and options work as they should, minus the A/C-the A/C system has been removed from this car completely. Overall, this is a beautiful, low mileage Buick that will not only set you apart from the Grand Nationals, but will leave a smile on your face that can't be duplicated by a stock car!
