Up for sale with NO RESERVE! is my 1967 Buick GS 400. Car was a Georgia car that was brought to New York a few years ago through the estate after the owner passed away. It sat in Georgia since 1993. Odometer says 67,755 and I am not sure if it is original or not. I purchased the car to fix up but I really don't have the time. This would make an excellent project or parts car if you choose. The car has a running non original 1968 430 motor. It seems to run pretty well but I have no history on it....remember,it sat 20 years. It had a bad water pump which I changed. I see antifreeze coming from the freeze plug on the drivers side...It does not smoke or knock. Transmission is a turbo 400 and goes into gear and backs up. I replaced the master cylinder because it had no brakes,now it has brakes with a low pedal after bleeding them but the booster has a vacuum leak causing this so it needs a booster. Has factory 10 bolt rear that is a non posi....with 293 gears. The mufflers are rotted out but the front pipes look good from what i can see. The body of the car is pretty solid, It has rot around the rear window and a few spots on the roof where the vinyl top was. I assume that the front windshield area is rotted as well as these cars are known for that,the windshield has a crack in the corner. Besides that,there is some rust on the lower fender and quarter that is easily fixable. That is all I really notice but there may be more when you get into it but the car is solid. The frame on the car is very nice and all of the body mounts are solid. Inner fenders and radiator support are in nice shape.The floors inside are all solid with a small spot on the passengers front floor near the drain plug needing repair. The trunk is pretty nice with just a few small holes as pictured. I have included a few pics of the underside...the car is really solid for the year. The interior is in need of total restoration. I have it all removed to see what the car really is.It will be placed in the car for transportation purposes. The windows are power, unhooked and not working at this time,I am not sure what they need. I have the door panels and rear panels and Yes,the GS400 emblems are on both panels. This is basically a great resto project that runs and yard drives.These cars are getting hard to find...especially one that is this solid underneath.
