This is a unrestored originalBuickSpecial, Straight Eight Classic and is mostly complete. Great Project Car, lots of the hard work is complete.
The body is straight with very few dings. She is clean, straight, with decent flat black paint. There is little surface to no rust at all on this vehicle. Super solid car; the floors have a few patches and trunk area is very clean. All sheet metal is original.
The original seats were re-upholstered. Some stitching on the right side has pulled apart slightly and can be easily repaired. The glass is all there except for the rear window. The stainless is in very good shape, some removed and in the trunk. The dash is complete and has not been cut into in any way. The odometer reads 11,110.
The original straight eight engine is there and complete. The engine and transmission are not in the vehicle. I have showed all areas of the car in the photos showing all areas of concern. You don't often find the 2 door hardtops in this shape and this complete. This would be a good candidate for a restoration or to be built as a street rod. I had planned to install a 455Buickengine with a Tremec. Make yourBuickDreams come true.
