Car starts by pushing on the throttle pedal. Runs good. Generator charges. Moves in both forward gears and reverse. Power steering works good. Steamed out fuel tank, new fuel line, new fuel gauge sender. Fuel gauge works. Oil pressure gauge works. Ammeter gauge works. New water pump and engine tuned up. Car stops with brakes but they aren't the strongest. Clean California car with very little rust. Solid around fender lips. Most of the rust showing is in rockers from dirt getting behind them and in floor pan from wet carpet. Rear bumper has rust in corner pieces, a good corner is included and they are the same on all '57s. Original paint colors of Garnet Red (copper) and white. All original glass, left rear door glass is cracked. All chrome and stainless pieces are there. Lots of parts in car to help restore, taillights, lenses, like new hood ornament, bezels and other trim items.
Cool car to leave original in appearance and drive around with some mechanical and interior work or fully restore it. Not many around. Auction could end early, have it listed on the Minneapolis CL for sale. Come and take a look at it. Will sell to overseas buyers and can load onto your car carrier.
