1965 Buick Riviera Gran Sport Additional Info:

This sale is for a 1965 Riviera Gran Sport. For those who know Rivieras this is theHoly Grail of Rivs. Only 3354 Gran Sports were produced in 1965 and this was the only year the Gran Sport optionincluded the factory dual 4bbl set upstandard.
This car has its original 425 ci, 360 hp, 465 ft/lb, #s match LX engine with numbers matching factory dual quads. It's currently running Edelbrocks but the original carbs and air cleaner pictured come with the car with full price offer. Negotiable otherwise. Motor is freshly rebuilt with less than 1000 miles.

Rare color combo, Astro Blue w/Deluxe blue interior.Air is all there and working mechanically – needscharged or converted to 134, power windows, power seats, tilt wheel, rear seat armrest, seats were re-done in '63/64 pattern as '65 pattern wasn't available at the time.
Exterior is in excellent condition. One repaint -probably in the 1980s (weak but gets thumbs-up everywhere it goes). Clamshells work on a toggle.
Solid, no rust ever, 2 owners last 30 yrs, climate controlled garage last 30 years. Sold new at Denver Buick. Always a Colorado car. Owner history from new. Extensive documentation including original Sales, Marketing, Advertising and reviews from 1965 – some rare, Protecto-Plate in original envelope from General Motors, original keys, etc.
This is largely an un-restored car. It shows normal wear for a car with 96,000 miles. It's been maintained, serviced and repaired as needed through the years. This is not a show car, but in my opinion is in excellent driver condition. Like any 50 year old car, it has it's own story.
