1987 BMW 325ic m3 convertible tribute / clone Project

1987 BMW M3 Additional Info:

Up for sale is my 1987 325ic to M3 clone project that I am not able to finish. The car started out as a Black on Black 325ic manual 6 cyl car that was in very good shape..I had a 1987 m3 parts car that was just not worth saving since it was all hacked up by a previous owner...I used all of the oem factory body parts ( both humpers,,side skirt, fenders, and steel rear quarter panels) to convert this car to what it is today..All oem parts that make an M3 an m3 were used..The shop even used the oem steel rear inner fender wells when they put the quarter on...they also installed a factory drilled for small wing coupe deck lid.( has no third brake light)
The front suspension is 99 e36 M3 rack, lower control arms and spindles with large brakes, the rear is 318ti rear control arms and brakes with Oem 1987 e30 M3 4;10 rear diff. The majority of the hard work has been done like all of the welding and the major body work and was sealed up with PPG DP40..Still needs more body work before final prime and block before paint. Doors need to filled in, and side skirts trimmed up and attached properly..I have a bunch of the clips with the Car has new e36 m3 struts and shocks and Ireland E30 lowering springs.
The car is running okay and has some bad gas in it from long term storage. Im sure after some running and tuning it will clear out. We had planned on an s54 swap So it was not a concern. Car is a project and not a car to jump in and drive,,Still needs some electrical done, Some parts are missing (ie headlights, Fog light lenses, grill, etc..Im sure there is more. I do have all complete interior, M3 steering wheel, 5 series ellipsoid headlights, and a ton of other random parts, Complete tool kit,German OB, Dash is cracked but I do have a better one that comes with the car that has a small minor crac, There are some additional wear issues on the rear seat but still looks great. ( We were going to have redone in M3 clothe inserts and black leather)Door panels are lifting toward the back edges of the doors,(easy fix) Seats are sticky and some levers dont work right(hear its pretty common) top is in descent shape but is a pain to put down like all e30 tops..Rear window is a little foggy but descent...Car has staggered 17 e36 M tech wheels with descent rollers..Rear tires are the same size as front thats why it looks weird..Front are 7.5 and rears are 8.5. I have all 4 of the bumper square tow hook covers. and the black interior tweeters that go by the mirrors..I dont know If I still have the mirrors or not..I will keep looking..There is also a bunch of misc parts coming with the car..
I prefer if serious parties come see the car or know what they are getting into..These cars are worth ridiculous amounts of money when done..
