We are expanding and getting real close to opening our 2nd location in Shreveport, La. we have been remodeling the old Brenner Furniture store for a year. I was the BMW sales manager years ago in Shreveport and had an 87 white, tan, blue, but mine was a 5 speed. I had been looking for a couple of years for one like it. This is the closest I could find it was Alpine White, tan leather, BMW sport wheels (BBS style) and a black top. I had a brand new blue stay fast canvas top installed and spent about 5 grand on service at PEAKE BMW in Kenner, La (one of my customers) having it serviced. I told them to go through it completely to make it as good as we could. The timing belt, valve adjustments, all the fluids and a bunch of other little items. I don't know if you remember the original advertisement from BMW marketing was The Ultimate Driving Machine well someone in marketing came up with this for the convertible. I love it! "The Ultimate Tanning Machine" These older 3 series are so good looking, remember back in the day they were everywhere but you hardly ever see them today. The E30 is equipped with a 2.5 Liter inline fuel injected six-cylinder rated at 170 HP mated to a 4 speed automatic transmission, power assist rack n pinion steering, McPherson strut, coil springs, sway bars, power ventilated disc brakes and of coarse rear wheel drive giving a sporty drive and feel for sure. Thank you for looking at my personal classic, I hate to sell it but just do not have time to enjoy her so I'm sharing her to a new owner to enjoy and care for. My gut feeling is these classic 3 series are one of the next in line to advance and be a good investments like the original M cars they have gotten very expensive.
