1968 BMW 1600-2 Barn Find

1968 BMW 2002 1600 Additional Info:

For sale is my extra BMW E10 chassis. This is not a 2002, but there wasn't a model listing for 1600's. This is a 1600-2 to be exact, originally "Turf" colored, but since paint. This one was plucked out of a small town field, not quite in a barn, but I like to think of it as Barn-find nonetheless! The previous owner purchased it in 1992 and was bought as a non-runner, and sat from his purchase time until I bought it. The engine DOES turn over with the starter motor at that, but I have not had time to get it running yet. I replaced the spark plugs, and just the oil, and never made it beyond that. Te odometer read 22,xxx miles, but I'm assuming it's more since it is only a 5-digit odo, so take it as you want. The original plan was to use this car as a parts-car for my other E10 2002 that I am doing an engine swap on at the moment. Unfortunately I found a lot of previous body work and once I started picking at it, it was evident the body panels I wanted for my other car were no good. I wanted to get it driving, but don't have time with my other projects. This car will need to be towed, and will need some serious work. Purchasing as a parts car or project only. I will need to remove the brake calipers so it can be rolled/transported easier.
