1983 bmw 533i base 3.2l

1983 BMW 5-Series Additional Info:

1983 BMW 533I NO RESERVE. This car belonged to a local owner of a German auto repair shop. It was his personal car and he had it since 1996. Due to health related issues his wife determined it best to sell the car and that's where we acquired it. It shows about 160,000 miles but I noticed when I test drove it the speedometer works but odometer doesn't seem to roll.
This car is being sold no reserve, high bidder owns it. Overall good shape from what we can tell, paint appears to be all original and shines nice. Worst spot is a dent in drivers fender which I included a photo of. Obviously a few other scrapes and dings here and there but in overall great shape for its age. Wheels are very nice, tires have lots of tread but are older and may have some checking due to age
Interior is very clean, some normal wear and tear on seats, cracking on dash but overall very nice and clean. Radio works but speakers crackle sometimes. I have not tried sunroof, power windows and locks work. AC needs charged.
Car drives very good, starts right up with no smoke, drives straight and true down the road with no overheating or issues as far as we can tell. We installed a brand new battery and new muffler. Car would definitely need serviced and checked over before I would take it on a long trip but I have personally driven it about 20 miles locally and noticed nothing major. Only light on the dash are the service interval red and yellow that would need reset with BMW tool
Undercarriage appears solid, minor surface rust but doesn't appear as a midwest car that's been exposed to years of salt
All original books and manuals as well as a tote full of spare parts that were with the car (misc belts, hoses, filters, gaskets, brake pads etc)
Once again this car is being sold NO RESERVE- HIGH BIDDER OWNS IT. It's by no means a perfect car, just a solid car someone can enjoy. Bid accordingly and don't assume anything.
