- This Final Year, All Original E30 325i/iS in the UBER RARE Laguna Green Metallic is a running and driving project car. I personally bought this E30 as a "forever" car, but due to changing circumstances in my life.. I have to abandon my dream project..Passing the baton onto the next enthusiast who will hopefully breathe the life of fresh air into this very rare example as she deserves. You will almost never find another Final Model Year Coupe, 325i/iS in LAGUNA GREEN METALLIC.I did the homework for you already. I have only seen two in the whole country personally, one isn't for sale, other was a Branded Title (which this one is not, THIS IS A CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE)It took me years to find this car in this exact spec, Factory 5-Speed Manual, Coupe, absolute rust free California Car (briefly spent in AZ for a few years than back home to Cali) no accidents all fender bolts are unturned still. All glass is original with OEM BMW marking on them.Odometer is true mileage to the best of my knowledge, odometer gears went out with me on my way home (have uninstalled VDO gears as I wanted the next owner to replace them) car is currently parked.A clean California title, carfax & autocheck reports. Impossible this day and age!!!!
My intention with this build, was a full-glass out rotisserie restoration with top-shelf materials such as PPG / Sikkens Primer, Clearcoat & Base Coat.- All New Seals, rubber etc. basically not just throwing one kitchen sinks at it, but two.To make this car BETTER than brand new, with very minor and thoughtful OEM+ modifications, keeping the 325i/iS Spirit Intact.Before car was parked, I daily drove the car around locally and on the freeway without any issues.Now with that being said, depending how you enjoy your cars, this car will need a proper restoration. whether it be all original faded paint, or to take this car off the road, and bring back a Bavarian Legend. E30's are world renowned as one of the best 3-Series ever made, and possibly to be ever made. You would be shocked the amount of smiles and thumbs up this car gets even in it's current state. People coming up to me telling me how it was their first car back in the day, etc..If you are planning on bidding on this car, be prepared to take charge of a full restoration, I serviced the engine as best as I could. Still have a box of uninstalled Bosch parts that will be included. Everytime it called for something, as mentioned above I did it. Differential whines like no tomorrow, I believe the transmission that's in this car not to be original, I do believe the M20 engine is though to the best of my knowledge. Engine runs fine, and drives fine. Clutch feels almost new.
A great father/son project, or just a project in general. Once this car is done, it will be certain to drop jaws, as it will be more than likely the only Laguna Green 325i/iS Coupe Factory 5-Speed Manual at any show you go to.I read on r3vlimited (not sure about accuracy) that approx ~300 Laguna Green Coupes were made worldwide. To give a rough idea. Certainly the right car to restore. To California Residents, if the car is intended to be registered in California, please acknowledge I have no knowledge how much DMV fees are and I am not responsible.
