1991 BMW 8-Series Additional Info:

I rescued this car from a fate of sitting in a persons driveway for years. Beautiful carsI have spent a lot of money recommishing this, but now with the current economic situation with Covid and lack of funds coming in, I am going to let someone else finish it at my expense since I know I'll be taking a loss.
The car has compete rebuilt front suspension as the original was worn. New front struts, upper lower arms, bushings etc.
New tires with no mileage yet on staggered rims and new spare tire.
We (my shop) were in the process of fine tuning the engine which starts, runs and drives but is currently running rich. I pulled the plug on the trouble shooting as I am now so tight on funds (broke) I'm having to sell my other toys now as well.
The car really needs cosmetics. The seats are nice but need a good cleaning. The stereo is currently out. It has the usual pixal issues with the climate controls. The temperature gauge has been intermittant. The sunroof interior control access panel was off when I got the car so I am assuming it is because it doe not work. I never tried out of fear that it would get stuck open. So that needs to be diagnosed.
A seatbelt panel is missing. The rear grill over the first aid kit is broken. There are no factory tools.
I do not know the history of the car. The prior owner said he, like so many others, could not afford to keep the car maintained as it should. The engine has good compression, sorry, I do not have the number but my shop confirmed it. They had just started to diagnose the running rich issue when I said "no more!"
I'm selling this as-is where is. While it runs/drives stops I do not recommend driving this home. It needs a good local driving around before trusting it on the long haul. It sounds great though, and with a little bit more effort should bring joy to the next owner.
It has a very shallow side swipe on the rear fender - see pictures. I have already bought the missing trim pieces and was waiting to have the car fixed and painted before installing. Look at the car now as a blank canvas!
I suggest using U-ship online to get shipping quotes - transporters bid on your job. I can also suggest a local carrier I use here in New Mexico that travels all across the country.
Once again, sold as-is where is and please bid responsibly. Do your research and do not overpay as I am not responsible for buyers remorse. All sales are final. If you are local you are welcome to check the car out in person.
Not sure what the mileage issue is with my states reporting system. It could be that I reported it wrong due to not having the car present when I registered it and had to guess the mileage. Otherwise clean title - no branding, No reported wrecks.
