1989 BMW 6-Series Fully Loaded Additional Info:
This 1989 BMW 635CSi was purchased (New) by family from Crevier BMW of Santa Ana, California and has been gently driven and maintained by its owner. Finished in Cinnabar Red and "Natur" leather, the car currently has has 178K miles and was utilized as a part-time driver by a real estate business professional (approximately 6,500 miles per year) for property appointments.
It was storage garaged for the past few years (during a 4 year divorce proceeding) and required new brake calipers, pads, rotors (on all (4) wheels) and needed master brake cylinder replacement as the brakes were slightly sticking from storage. All maintenance records have been digitized and are available for review. The E24 comes with all ownership manuals included with the original "Dealer" purchase to also include radio and emissions documentation. All body panels have matching VIN tags as exemplified in door jamb photo. Numerous parts serviced from the vehicle throughout the years will be included with the sale (please request this list if it is of interest to you). The factory issued tool kit is furnished intact as well as the original TRX Metric Spare tire and Bottlecap wheel (never used). The radio is the factory installed BMW with security code and it features AM/FM Cassette and rear trunk CD changer.
Since the car was gently driven, the engine and transmission sound and feel like it did when it was new (you will not be disappointed with the idling, acceleration or shifting smoothness).
However, the vehicle will need several items to be addressed in short order. Firstly, the transmission cooler lines are original, beginning to crack and weep transmission fluid. Secondly, the air conditioning system would need to be serviced as it does not currently blow cold air. Thirdly, the Rear Passenger CV boot has cracks and would need replacement (I recommend replacing the driver's side as well). The battery was recently replaced and is under warranty.
This description shall be updated as questions are posted so that all may see what is being asked.
Thank you,
I hope you will enjoy my baby as much as I did...
