1982 BMW 3-Series is Additional Info:
I believe this is the e21 to own. It’s a rare sport model which means it came standard with fog lights, front air dam, 3 spoke steering wheel, Recaro seats, sunroof, 5 speed manual transmission, Sport Suspension and cross spoke alloy rims.
The car is in great condition. The odometer shows 41,408. It had just turned 39,000 when I bought it 4 years ago. I am not the original owner, but the mileage certainly appears accurate. I did run an autocheck and a few entries show the car to be in excess of 100,000 miles. These few entries are in between numerous other entries with lower mileage that is showing. I tend to believe the 2-3 higher mileage entries are mistakes, but I wanted full disclosure. The auto check also shows an accident and damage to the left side. it was repaired and remains with a clear title. I did not know it had ever been involved in an accident until I read the autocheck, I will assume it is accurate. I do not know what parts were actually repaired on the car. It looks and drives great some I'm guessing it wasn't too much. Still has all original BMW glass
There are no running or mechanical issues. It runs, drives and shifts perfectly. All fluids were changed 10 months ago. The air conditioner blows cool, but not freezing cold air. No other maintenance such as as brakes and tires is needed at this point.
The interior is very near perfect. The sun roof opens and closes normally. Some normal wear as expected on the steering wheel and shift knob. The seats are in perfect condition. I don’t think anyone has ever been in the back seat. Dash is beautiful and not cracked. All gauges work. There is a very, very small split on the drivers side door panel as shown in the picture - it has not expanded since I have owned the car - it’s not a big deal but I wanted to point it out. An aftermarket Alpine stereo. Carpets are great and headliner is great. Visors are puffy
The car has all original glass. No curb rash on the wheels. There are a few paint bubbles on the hood near the front as shown in the pictures. It looks like someone backed over something and bent the sheet metal near the muffler - please see the pictures
This is a great car. Buyer to pay for and arrange shipping. Personal inspections are very welcome - this car will impress. Clear title in my name.
Please ask any questions. I can take any pictures needed.
