1986 BMW 3-Series 325 base 4D Additional Info:

Up for sale is a 1986 BMW 325 base 4D Automatic.

This car runs and looks great for its age. It has undergone a complete refreshing recently including the following work:

ENGINE:

-Rebuilt top end

-Refurbished head, new valve seals

-All new gaskets (from head up)

-New breather and vacuum hoses

-New fuel injectors

-New water pump and thermostat

-New timing belt and pulley

-New spark plugs

-All new belts (alt, p/s, a/c)

-Both New fuel pumps

-All new engine sensors (see coolant temp sensor)

-New air intake to throttle body boot

-New starter

-New battery

-Transmission flush with new filter

-New O2 sensor

BODY:

-Wet sand/compound/ and polish paint, some imperfections (8/10)

-New front bumper rubber inserts

-New chrome molding for windshields

-New front license plate holder

-Painted some of the trim (grills, molding, etc.)

-New running lights all around

INTERIOR:

-13 button OBC conversion

-Complete tool box

-New interior dome light lenses

-All dash lights replaced

-New LED interior dome lights

-odometer gears replaced

-new temp gauge installed (one in cluster not working, suspect the gauge itself but could likely be the board)

-Power Mirrors/ windows work fine

-COLD A/C, heat is comfortable

RUNNING GEAR:

-Front hubs (both)

-New parking brake cables and pads

-Brake pads not replaced but seem to have more than half life remaining, rotors seem ok.

-New KYB front struts

I’ve done a few other little adjustments and checks over the car and have spent HUNDREDSSS, of hours doing said work to the car. This car is as turn key as they come, I just recently took it to Leakey, TX and back (660 mile round trip) for an annual festival and had absolutely no problems with it. Rides smooth and quiet inside, no air leaks around windows.
