1993 BMW 3-Series Additional Info:
Up for sale is my recently imported 1993 BMW 316i Limited Edition "Design Edition" touring. This is a fantastic example with absolutely everything working, original (minus the wheels and exhaust), and of fantastic running condition. The interior is original factory fitted, as it matches the exterior paint. So Laguna Metallic green was give the matching green mtech material and that only (for design edition). If its not green cloth material, its not original.
-I imported this one myself, as I always wanted one with the sport seat/cloth combo. Usually, you'll find this interior thrown into a handful of cars, however they are not factory fitted. This one is. In fact, it has the "Limited Edition" badges to match on the C pillars and front grilles. The interior itself is spotless, apart from some tears on the drive side bolster (the Mtech fabric is clean though). CRACK FREE dash, and a cluster with everything working perfectly. Climate control works awesome, blower motors doing their job as they should. Rear luggage cover included, as well as the dog guard, both work perfectly. Included is also the original leather tool wrap with all the tools, and a medical kit in the opposing rear storage compartment.
*The limited edition spec was only offered in base spec, so no air con.*
-Motor and trans are fantastic, M40 4 cylinder fires right up with zero smoke or odd noises. Five speed manual transmission shifts amazing, super smooth and notchy with no play. Clutch makes no noises, engages very smooth with plenty of life. The car can hold 90mph on the freeway without a hiccup. Theres even an auxiliary Fan installed with an OEM looking switch to help cool it on hot days in traffic. Car sips fuel, and does great with in city driving.
-Lastly, the body. Extremely straight, no crunched front fenders or rusted out frame rails. The car has one rear arch that could use some work, but its hardly noticeable. Other then that, straight and sharp. Central locking works great (huge plus...), locks from every corner as it should. Rust is not an issue with this car, all the usual spots are clear and clean. I can provide photos of when I had it inspected on a lift if requested.
The car will be sold with its German title and the documentation to register it stateside, I began the process here in Texas (Already has its Texas State inspection) but will be moving soon so its rather pointless to wait the 3 weeks to get its second and final inspection.
Car is sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping/pick up.
