1958 BMW Other Additional Info:
All-original BMW 600 (often called an Isetta) - excellent project car for restoration with all original glass and clean Florida title. VIN number has been confirmed by local law enforcement but is so old it may not appear in Autocheck, etc.
My understanding is the first car manufactured by BMW was a single-door two-seater BMW 300 powered by a single cylinder motorcycle engine and thisis their second model - a two-door four-seater ("stretch limo" - ?) powered by a two-cylinder motorcycle engine..
Inherited from my father and has been in covered storage for most of the past 50 years with a bit of rust here and there, dry rubber, etc. as you would expect from an original car of this age. Unsure if mileage is 33053 or 3305.3 ("Isetta" folks would know more about the odometer than I do).
Unknown issues are the condition of the engine; known issues are a missing glass carburetor bowl, front right turn signal cover, right rear taillight cover (have new replacement), clutch cable (understand older VW models may fit), exhaust/heater system rusted out, a dent on the front (due to towing - has never been in an accident), rust under rear door, etc.
Also have a box with a few parts (front spare tire cover, rear bumper, etc.) that do not appear in the photos.
Prefer to sell outright but willing to consider other options.
Car is in storage in North Port, Florida; Buyer to arrange pickup/shipping, Seller can help load.
