1987 BMW 6-Series Additional Info:
Up for auction at no reserve is my 1987 BMW L6 (635csi). I've owned this car for a little over a year, my intention for it was to use as a daily driver. I've since picked up another BMW so I have to sell this one. The car has some aftermarket performance parts like Moda M1 BBS wheels, momo hub and aftermarket wheel, Recaro seats, Racing Dynamics springs and Bilstein suspension. The car was painted by a previous owner its not great but shines up decently. The dashboard is bad as you can see but I have a black leather L6 dashboard that's pretty nice included in the sale. The motor seems to have good power and the transmission shifts smooth. It will need work to be road worthy I can feel the driveshaft bushing is bad and the car needs an alignment as it pulls to the left. The instrument cluster is flaky and the odometer doesn't work (classic bmw issue). The passenger side rocker has some kind of dent from jacking or something there is rust on that area but not on the floorpan itself. This is a great chance to get an e24 series car at a cheap price. There becoming harder to find and becoming quite collectible. Would make a great project or restoration build the parts alone could do quite well.
Deposit is to be paid at the end of the auction. I find this shows the buyer is serious about his purchase. I've had flakey people win my auctions only to come up with excuses why they can buy the item they won.
I have a large parking lot and can help with loading for transporters and shippers right off the highway. I'm flexible with the car being stored once payment is complete to accommodate shipping arrangements. The car is located in Thurmont Maryland which is about 45min outside DC.
