I purchased this car in mid 2015 from the son of the original owner. It was his mothers car. The cars life was spent in Reno Nevada up until my purchase. She did not drive the car in the rain or snow and it was always garaged. The under carriage and body is in like new condition, free of rust. It is an original fjord blue with one repaint. It isNOT a sunroof car. The car had the zender spoiler on it when I purchased it, but otherwise completely original. I have since made some modifications: 5 speed conversion,all new IE short shift kit and linkage,dual 40 webers, schrick 292 cam, rocker locks,long tube header, 2 1/4 exhaust, new hoses, breakerless ignition, all seals and gaskets replaced on motor, cylinder head refurbished, motor mount reinforced, new front and rear seals in transmission, rebuilt and shortened driveline,newly re upholstered 320i recaros,new black carpet, vintage nardi wood steering wheel, turbo tii valance / front spoiler custom installed and molded into stock fender, BAV auto lowered sport springs,320i 14" bottle cap wheels with new tires and a set of 14" bbs basket weaves also, kenwood Bluetooth head unit,separate amp for highs and sub, early style rear bumper, and probably more I forgot.

I have been driving it dailyfor about a month without issue. I have a few extras along with some of the stock parts that I will be including with the car, I.E. door glass, bumpers,complete intake, trunk card. I have some pic of the undercarriage I will be uploading soon but rest assured it is rust free! This is a great candidate for either going back to original or further modifying.

In an effort to be transparent I have updated the listing with some pics and information as to known issues and blemishes. heater fan not working on all speeds, high beams and horn not working, emergency flasher switch not fully functional but have good replacement, new speedo cable not connected to speedometer since 5 speed install <500 miles. long tube header at collector is grazing pitman arm, speaker grill ring is cracked on passenger door and wont stay on, windshield wiper reservoir not installed but do have, paint is for the most part good but some blemishes as seen in pics. Damage to firewall area is do to mishap in engine install and is surface rust only.2 under dash carpet panels not installed. This car was well taken care of but is still 40 plus years old and has not been fully restored, some rubber such as door rubber should be replaced IMO.
