BMW m70 v12 is the one you want! This is a super rare car and a great example of one of BMW's best GT cars. There were only 30,000 cars made during the entire production run, nd only 6,700 were brought to the USA.
1994 was a transition year and only 13 (!) 850ci's were sold that year with the M70 V12 engine. (source: e31.net)
This car is a fantastic example with only 85,000 miles on the ODO.
I'm a BMW enthusiast and own several BMW's of this era. This car has been lovingly serviced using quality OEM or OE brands (Behr, osch, emforder, tc). All the typical BMW service areas have been covered -- new brakes (pads and rotors), ooling system, E BMW plugs and BRAND NEW BMW Spark Plug wires, alve cover and intake manifold gaskets, ransmission service including a BMW OE filter. Tons more small parts refurbished to give this car the respect it deserves. Tires are brand new. Replica Throwing Star Wheels (used on the 850csi) have been refinished at Alloy Wheel Repair in Kirkland. The car was recently aligned when new tie-rods were installed.
Exterior is very nice for its age. Had a few areas of paint recently touched up. Paint is not flawless but still very nice. New hood seals, indow "auto up" features work and everything is super tidy.
I would give the Interior is a sold 8. Seat leather is nice for its age with no rips, ears or holes. Seat Heaters work as do all the electrical functions (no stripped gears). A/C blows ice cold. No dead pixels or burned dash bulbs. All windows work great. Two brand new batteries also. Sunroof works great, o headliner sag, nd I had the inner sunroof panel recovered in Alcantara. Factory Radio is included (LCD was bad). I put a media radio in its place (used an adapter so no cut wires), nd integrated the bluetooth speaker where the factory phone speaker was located. Brand new custom floor mats.
No car is perfect, ut the bad is pretty minimal. The sunroof works but not the interior panel when you tilt (pretty common and fixable). Seats are in nice shape, o rips, ut have some wear. Some cracking in the interior woodgrain clear-coat. That's really about it. No mechanical or driving issues at all.
This car starts, tops, nd handles like a brand new car. One of my favorite all-time BMW's to drive. Put the shifter in "Sport" mode and the V12 takes off like a rocket. No smoke on startup, o leaks, nd everything works. I love BMW's and do all my own servicing and this car is well sorted. This is a future classic that is starting to get mainstream collector attention.
I've done so much more than I've listed here. I'm also including a 1:18 scale replica, nother set of Plug Wires (those alone are $400 from BMW) and as set of OEM spark plugs as well as the original radio.
