1991 BMW 318is for parts or project - Family member hit a nasty pothole a year or so ago and destroyed oil pan resulting in loss of oil. Engine locked up. Started parting out here on ebay but ran out of time. Now moving so offering what is left for remaining parts and/or project. Several remaining parts of the car have already been pulled so will be included loose with the car. Has been stored in carport.
Very little rust on chassis (see pics - including small area on rear valence that was filled and painted). Overall very solid. Had a repaint in its past - fair quality. Many parts are gone, but many remain, including:Bilstein HD shocks, rear seat and rear interior panels, wheels, including spare (3 center caps - tires too, but may be flat-spotting by now and one has slow leak), radiator, pedal assembly, steering wheel w/air bag, dash (has a couple of cracks), differential (noisy when car was operational so needs attention), locks and 3 keys (driver lock needs repair, central locking system was semi-operational at time of demise), gas tank with fuel pump (residual fuel may have varnished?), body panels - trunk lid has rust where rear spoiler was, front valence bent via pot hole, driver fender has minor bend from same, hood has some dents and is not attached, "belt line" molding, carpet (dirty), front door panels (not perfect but good), all windows except front windshield, power windows worked at time of demise, shifter w/carrier (stock), sunroof panel (has typical rust but is still serviceable, particularly with a little work), compressor there but A/C was not cooling, ABS there but was disconnected before our ownership, block and top end of engine still there, though in need of r&r (timing case was rebuilt a couple of years ago FWIW), rear tail light bulb panels, starter (320i style - car had clutch/flywheel mod), alternator (original is gone but picked up a spare along the way - tested good at the time), side mirrors (cracked glass, paint peeling), and quite a bit more. See pics for more parts that come with the car. Screws and bolts are not labled/sorted. Some may be missing. Please ask for specific items/details not mentioned.
Below is a list of parts that are GONE - NO LONGER WITH THE CAR (may not be exhaustive, but pretty darn close -ask, ask, ask if you have questions):
