1989 BMW 3-Series 325I Additional Info:

FOR SALE : 1989 BMW E30 325i. Zinno Red 6sp. Clean CARFAX. All Stickers on body.
I bought this car 2 years ago as an unfinished project from the previous owner. It has a Clean CARFAX and was originally sold in California and spent most of its life in Oklahoma and Texas. No salt exposure so clean chassis.
The S54 M3 swap (60k on motor)was done by a shop in Texas called Spec Motorsports (no longer in business). When I bought the car the body had no rust at all since it came from the midwest. However, the paint was very tired andithad a very bad respray from the past.I decided to strip the car down to a metalshell (windows removed) and repaint the whole car in the original Zinnobart Red. I bought new recovered IS front seats and put in a IS steering wheel. I will be installing the passenger seat which is also in perfect "as new" recovered condition as the drivers seat. I also installed a perfectCrackFREE dash at great expense. This car is atotal rocket and has over 320hp in a 2800lb car. What is also unique is that ithas A/C(needs recharge) and a 6 speed manual transmission from a ZHP 330i. It also has E36 M3 5 lug swap/brakes, Ground Control Coilovers w/camber plates, all new sway links and control arms and bushings. Car drives tight. Staggered hubcentricSSR Forged wheels 17x7 17x8.5 w/new Sumitomo 245 40 17, 215 40 17 tires.
The car runs and drives and shiftsgreat with nice click clickto the shifter, but I have too many projects (3)E30 M3 restorations)and not enough time or fundsto make this car100% perfect. As with any car that is over 28 years old,it will need new door seals, detailing of body, a new headliner, and a tach adapter for the gauge cluster to read RPM.Rest of cluster reads fine.I have done all the hard work and have over $23k invested in thisproject. I know I won't get that money back, but for someone who wants a clean E30 with a S54 swapand is willing to puta little time into it to make it perfectthen this is the car for you. I have only driven this car 100 miles since completion so my loss is your gain. All fresh new mechanical and suspension parts.
One last thing. The car recently would crank over freely, but the engine would not fire up. In order to start the car you need to do a push start to kick the car on. I think one of the relays are bad.Alsocrank sunroof does not open.Like I said earlier I have no more time or fundsto mess with the car.Ithas a clean Virginia title with cleanCARFAX history. Will be sold AS IS.
Please message me if you want to see a video of the car running and overview. Ebay doesn't allow links. Thanks!
