1962 BMW 7-Series Additional Info:
Weather you turn this into a racer or bring it back to it's original beauty, this is a vehicle to preserve. While recognized as the model that saved BMW from bankruptcy, the BMW 700 provided an affordable and stylish option for families after the war. Engined with a 2-cylinder air-cooled boxer twin borrowed from their successful motorcycles, the 700 was a good balance of performance, economy and reliability. Micheoletti's timeless lines set this German micro-car apart from the rest.
This vehicle will need a thorough going through by an attentive hand. Most everything is there but in need of restoration. Fortunately, parts are still available, many even straight from BMW! Also included but not pictured are the passenger seat, instrument cluster, and the steering wheel in nice condition. Tires hold enough air for rolling onto a trailer and positioning. Questions welcome.
