Up for sale is my 1976 BMW 2002, 4 speed trans,Air conditioning, and sunroof. the car had a total every nut and bolt restoration in 2006 and has only been driven a little over 1,000 miles since done. Beautiful restoration with receipts of over $40 spent at that time. The car was bought new at Al Bescotti BMW in Phoenix Arizona, in the early 1980s it came to Southern California and never left the state. The body is laser straight with zero rust anywhere and is painted Baikal Blue original color was White and you can not find any white anywhere on the car,all glass was removed, doors,hood,trunk lid and all trim. new seals and weather strip everywhere. all new wiring,complete new interior,headliner,seats rebuilt,door panels,carpet windshield etc.etc. The motor is the stock matching numbers motor,completely rebuilt with Weber carburetor upgrade and passes California smog test every time, The car was sold new in Arizona so it is a non catalyst car. The transmission is stock 4speed and rebuilt before restoration and now has the short shift shifter. The rear end was completely rebuilt with new bearings,seals, axles, CV joints. it has power Disc brakes in front and drums in rear that were completely rebuilt. both front and rear suspension was removed and rebuilt, has Bilstein shocks and front and rear sway bars and lowering sport springs. everything seems to work as it should, AC, heater, wipers,am fm cassette, all lights and horns.The car is extremely nice every where you look. The motor runs very strong,transmission shifts smooth and quiet in every gear.The car handles like a Go Cart and is a pleasure to drive. It comes with the spare tire (not shown in the pictures). I have the original window sticker owner manuals along with receipts going back to the early 1980s . very good history records for the car and I believe I am the 4th owner. The car has only a little over 1,000 miles since the restoration was done and is in very nice condition, but does have a couple very tiny nicks one on the lower front valance and one on the top of hood,too small to show up in pictures.The car comes with a clear California title in my name and a fresh smog certificate for CA. buyers. This car was bought for $12k in 2005 and was a very nice well maintained original car before the restoration was done and the paper work that goes with it pretty much shows its History from when it was bought new.
