1976 BMW 2002 MODEL RESTORED WITHUPGRADED PERFORMANCE. This car has been completely restored anddressed in competition form as a tribute to older race cars. This car has never been raced. The front bumper has been replaced with a Bavarian Motor Sports Air Dam. The restoration was performed on a completely rust free car. The car was stripped to bare metal and refinished in abase coat clear coat paint to the highest standards of excellence. The interior has been redone with factory Recaro Seats and a sport steering Wheel. VDO gauges were also added. The engine is completely having been gone through less than 2000 miles ago and has many additional performance add ons.All gasketswere replaced and engine rebuilt with a new fuel pump. Dual Weber Carbs with Ram Air filters were added.the exhaust was improved with addition of a Ceramic Header and a Chambered Free Flow system. Spark is provided from Bosch Hi- Energy Coil and Wires. crisp shifting is aided with the installation of a Bavarian Motor Sports short throw shifter and linkage. Thesuspension has new Bilstein Shocks and the brakes have been upgraded with Brembo aftermarket units. This 2002 looks good and runs as good as it looks, everything works as it should. Car is completely road worthy. All of the work has been done to a very high standard and it is a " No Disappointments" vehicle.
