Vehicle Details
In my time as owner I have made a substantial investment in the mechanical aspects of this car. This includes new clutch and throw out bearing, replacement of many gaskets and seals in the engine and gearbox, new water pump, fuel pump rebuild, installation of backup electric fuel pump, rebuild master cylinder, new brakes and wheel cylinders, various electrical connections. All completed work was listed and photographed for future reference. The body is solid…multiple garage or stone niks, chips or scratches as could be expected in a 73 year old car. Surface rust on the undercarriage is evident but easily brushed away. Small paint bubbles can be seen in two small spots and should be an easy repair. I was preparing for Chip and scratch touch ups before deciding to sell. Word of mouth reports from the last owner mentions a complete motor overhaul by a well known British mechanic in LA. Completed in the late ‘80’s…but no documentation was available. Today the motor runs strong and responsive with a new electronic ignition kit installed last year.
