Condition
Great overall condition for its age. Starts like a charm and have never had any mechanical problems with it. Recently updated the starter, ignition coils and battery. This Austin has the 1000 cc motor with 4 speed manual transmission. A lot of fun to drive, basically a street legal gokart!
For any classic car of this age the car is not perfect. I have listed below some of the minor issues.
-There are two areas on the car where the paint is chipping (driver door and passenger door) photos included.
-There is a connection bad on speedometer and odometer and it is currently not working. I haven't had the chance to take the car in but it was working originally. Pretty sure its an easy fix
-Passengerseat shows a rip in the leather. Photo included
-Windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced or adjusted as the wipers tend to get stuck.
Parts for these cars are extremely inexpensive. I have now owned the car for 3 years and have spent less than $500 in maintenance. Truly a great car!
