1961 Austin Healey Sprite MKII Additional Info:
The car is complete and 100% their, has zero rust and appears to have no filler. It has been restored beautifully and runs fantastic. It is a joy to drive. These cars are valued over $20k as a concourse car and over $13k for an extremely clean car according to Hagerty and NADA. This car would have to be listed in the middle in my opinion. I have seen other Sprites listed for sale on eBay at $11,995 that need new interior, body work and paint. This car needs nothing and is extremely clean. I have an English/British mechanic who specializes in these cars only and he just spent two hours bleeding and adjusting the brakes as well as the clutch and did a trans service. He tuned the car, tightened the belts and adjusted the carb to make sure everything was dialed in just right. I am listing this car as an auction with what I consider to be a low reserve. I am also listing the car locally so I may pull it if I sell it. Feel free to ask questions and I am happy to help you with transportation after sale and can even hold for a little while if needed. Don't be afraid to shoot me offers the worst I can say is no. I am not a dealer and I have a clean and clear California pink slip in hand. Mileage is not actual as the speedometer is not working. The engine and drive train are probably at roughly 15,000. The whole car mileage is unknown. I have done my best to detail everything to the best of my knowledge. I bought the car from a lien sale holder and finished it up. Like I said it has a huge file of receipts for over 10k in new parts etc. Selling because I am also working on a 1966 pick up truck.
Please make sure if you bid you buy. Once auction has ended and you are the winning bidder you bought the car. If you want to inspect the vehicle or test drive it please reach out to me and make arrangements I am happy to have you do it.
