1963 Austin MarkII Convertible Additional Info:
No extra fees in my auction. This right hand drive car is a BLAST! This is an Austin Healey that is a 1963 but I am told it has a bunch of 1967 features. Some are because UK cars got features US got later. It is possible parts cars helped build this with some improved newer features as well. It simply is a fun car and is a blast to drive and own. Best of all it is right hand drive. It is so different that you won't want to stop driving it. It handles like a go cart. This Austin Healey has a good amount of power due to power to weight ratio. I think this has a 1275cc motor I am told vs. the 1098cc. Either way it is pretty quick feeling going down the road. Performance enhancements are popular with these little cars. The transmission shifts so nice in all of the gears. It is a 4 speed forward with reverse. Driving the car down the road feels very nice. It is a very nice car to restore or just keep around to drive around for fun. The car has been repainted at some point and could use a nice polish. The interior is in good shape as you can see. The car will need a new speedometer cable (odometer and speedometer not working). True miles unknown. These tops are cheap and a new one is in order. The parts to restore or maintain these are all over the internet new and used. The brakes are disk in the front and drum in the back. They work fine. The emergency brake, horn, lights, wipers all work. The heater is not hooked up but it has the option which is nice. This car is being sold as is where is, "what you see is what you get". Thank you for your interest.
