1960 Austin Healey BT7 2+2 N/A Additional Info:

Recent work performed within the last 3 months...as I purchased an older restoration that was sitting for 10 plus years.

Repairs included complete engine rebuild including valve guides, new valves, new timing chain, new cam, and lifters. Repaired frayed brake lines, fixed leaks to oil pan, timing cover, engine real main seal, trans, and OD. In addition we replaced SU carburetors with a fabricated intake manifold, with a Holley 2 bbl (Original carbs to accompany the car).

The paint is in good shape, minor 1 in scratch on drivers side door, minor ding on drivers side rear quarter panel, chrome, glass and finishes are all nice.

This is a clean car.

No excessive smoke on startup, no unusual noises from the engine.

The vehicle drives as a new vehicle of its era.

Pictures cannot show the mechanical condition of the car but I have personally driven this car over 200 miles and can attest that it is in very good running and driving condition. My mechanic at Platt’s Performance Plus in Jamesburg, New Jersey just did an oil change, and replaced the regulator. He indicated that this car is in very good condition.

In that vein, all the lights work and nothing is inoperative. This car does not overheat and has no known mechanical defects.

In regard to the value, Hagerty’s valuation guide states that the average value of a 1960 Austin Healey 3000 BT7 “Condition 2” car is $61,600 and a “Condition 3” car is valued at $36,200.

This car is much better than Good but not quite Excellent. Therefore, a fair price for this car is around $45,000.

As condition is a subjective….I’am open to negotiation on the purchase price.

If you are looking for an extremely nice British roadster that has stunning good looks, admirable performance, and one that makes a very good investment….this is the car.
