1962 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 MK II Tri-Carb #62HBT7L/16244. Austin Healey upgraded its 3000 roadster in 1961 and, or 14 months only, uilt a more powerful “Mark II” version with a hotter cam and triple carburetors which raised the horsepower to 132. This Tri-Carb was built in November of 1961 and delivered to Los Angeles in February of 1962. It is a California “Black Plate” numbers matching car that I have kept in its original configuration and is in its original color combination of Colorado Red with black interior with red piping. It is fitted with the original 4-speed without overdrive, 5” “knock-off” chrome wire wheels, ront disc brakes, djustable steering column, eater and laminated windscreen. The car comes with its British Heritage Certificate, n original equipment soft top, ide curtains, onneau cover and full car cover. I have owned the car for over 10 years. Odometer reading when purchased was 50,290. It now reads 67,102. I have over $10,000 in maintenance and mechanical upgrade receipts including among many other items, new exhaust system, e-built and upgraded radiator and cooling system, arburetor rebuild, ngine and transmission rebuild. This is a very clean, resentable car that is mechanically sound and ready to drive and enjoy as-is. I drive it every week to Cars and Coffee.
